Rajeev Dwivedi
– Founder & CEO of Livepixel Technologies

Experience: More than two decades

Rajeev Dwivedi is truly a multi-faceted personality. He is a Software Engineer by profession and Alumnus of Center for Development of Advance computing (C-DAC), LUCKNOW UNIVERSITY and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Holding an M.Sc in electronics (Physics) from Lucknow University, he has also been a journalist with publications such as The Times of India and The Hindu from 1993 to 2002.

He has focused on an art of storytelling and creating narratives that are close to the grass root and address to the psyche of a commoner and therefore are close to real life. He has brought out majors in the industry through Live Pixel Technologies with his vast experience of more than two decades in content creation for various platforms and experiential content for Museums and experience centres pan India and abroad.

As an intrepid entrepreneur and a media man to the core, he set up his first company, Indian Academy of Arts and Animation Private Limited in 2003 and served as Board of Director and Technical Director. His development of the software for colorization of motion pictures was well applauded with praise and appreciation for presenting all time evergreen classic cult art piece “Mughal-e-Azam” in its various hues bringing out the splendor of the movie in its truest form. . Since then, several international classics have been colorized under his aegis, including Sherlock Holmes series, Laurel and Hardy series, World War II series and more than 100 war documentaries for international broadcaster viz National Geographic, Discovery, NETFLIX, BBC and French TV to name a few.

His vision to foray into digital content creation has got him the opportunity to become the most preferred partner with DISCOVERY EDUCATION in 2017 to create science content from school to higher education thereby generating thousands of minutes of digital content.

His publication Animation Today, a monthly magazine has been the leading publication through the Asia-Pacific region and the only one on the subject in the Indian subcontinent, catering to the needs of professionals, students and the booming AVGC industry in the country. He also sits as Board Member of many companies, including Whiteboard Entertainment and few CSR initiatives on digital education.

He was appointed the Production-in-Charge of Children’s Film Society, under I & B Ministry, Government of India from Nov 2010 to June 2012. Later on, he was given additional charge of Marketing and has been Technical Advisor of CFSI. He has handled 17th International Children Film Festival of India better known as “Golden Elephant” in a capacity of Production Head and Technical Advisor in 2011.

He is Council Member of Gerson Lehrman Group based in Austin, TX and also Global Consultant of Primary Insight Consulting Group to consult projects globally in Technology space in Media and Entertainment segment especially in Film Archive, Film technology, restoration, colorization, Post studio and Broadcasting and distribution.

Uttara Dwivedi – Creative Director

Post-graduated in zoology from Ujjain University, Uttara Dwivedi started her career in education in 2003 as program coordinator at the Indian Academy of Arts and Animation and later as creative director and colorist in the same organization, having worked on a couple of motion picture colorization projects, including the colorization of the Indian classic Mughal-e-Azam. Having a passion for art, media, and entertainment, and being a painter herself, she contributed in creating a lot of artworks, specializing in landscape paintings.
Later, in 2005, she started a partnership in Sankranti Creations, which has diversified into media, creative direction, AVIT, software development, restoration, and coloring. Being publisher of a monthly magazine, Animation Today, which is now the leading publication on CG, animation, and gaming, she developed an interest in creating writing, scripting, and storyboarding, and as an associate member of the Writer’s Association of India, she is working on a couple of concepts for TV and feature films.

Rupali Chaturvedi
–International Business Coordination

Rupali Chaturvedi is an accomplished professional having diverse experience of 24 years in the Media and Entertainment industry. She is a major in Mass Communications & Journalism, with specialization in Public Relations & Corporate Communication. She has kept herself abreast with assemblage of technical knowledge and is armed with numerous Diplomas in Computer Applications, Professional Desktop Audio-Video Editing and Product Design and Animation.

She wears multiple hats in the organization, humming across 2D/3D Animations, AVs, Color Restoration, Events & Museums and is a back bone of communication between Management, Deliveries and Clients. Her prime forte is Crisis Management, Client Serving, Corporate Communication and Business Support.

Her strength lies in playing various roles to achieve desired results by strategic planning, strong coordination and execution. Handled turnkey projects in the domain of Animation, Live Action films, Digital Museum Galleries and more.

Delightfully worked with clients in International, Indian, State & Central Government (Projects through Tenders), Public sector, Corporate sector and delivered numerous turnkey projects, Rupali has demonstrated ability towards inspiring teams with clear goals and smooth working with stakeholders as and when required.

Major Clients – Discovery Education (London), Kimberly Clark Professional (USA), Mahindra Automotive, National Science Centres of India, Financial Regulatory of India (RBI, SEBI & NISM), State Bank of India, Gujarat Govt, Chhattisgarh Govt, UP Tourism.

Rupali’s key role is to oversee International Business Coordination and develop long term relations.

Abhijeet Bambadekar
–Technical & Creative Head(2D)

An Alumni of J. J. School of Art University (2001). Abhijeet started his animation career in 1999. Currently he is the Technical and Creative Head working at Livepixel Technologies Mumbai. Having a total experience of 20 years in the 2D Animation industry, he has also experience in handling 2D Animation in 2D Classical, Toon Boom/Flash for TV shows and feature films as a Show and Animation Supervisor.

He has handled many international shows as Animation supervisor such as Darwin and Newts (Whitebaitmedia (NZ), Chakra the Invincible [Marvel-Graphic (India)], Titina Film [Studio Souza (France)], Wool Wool Town (Escape velocity China). Growing Up Creepie (Mike Young Animation).

He has also worked on 1001 Days (Best animation short won in Ajyal Film Festival), and Fraiha (Selected to screen at Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival), shorts for the Doha Film Institute (Qatar).

Abhijeet has had the opportunity to be a part of major Indian animation studios such as Silverline Animation, DQ entertainment, Jadoo works, Famous studio, Crest animation, Future Thought Animation, Animation Dimension, Regh Animation, etc

Mrinal Roy
–Pre Production

Mrinal has worked in the industry for 10 years in different departments of designing. Pre-production and production. An alumni of sir JJ institute of applied art, he has had the opportunity to work for live action/publishing/advertising and animation industry.

As a pre-production artist and supervisor he has been responsible for designing environments, characters, assets and storyboards for various styles of projects, domestic and international such as Darwin and Newts [Whitebaitmedia (NZ)], Chakra the Invincible [Marvel-Graphic (India)], Wool Wool Town (Escape velocity China), 1001 Days, Ya hoota, [Doha Film Institute (Qatar)], The twisted timeline of Sammy and Raj (Nickelodeon/Reliance) and many more.

Because of his collaborative nature and curiosity he involves himself in all the departments of the pipeline to understand the needs of the project from all aspects and deliver the best output.

Currently he heads the Pre-production dept. at Live Pixel Technologies.

Paresh Palkar
–Toon Boom Supervisors

Over the past 13 years, Paresh has immersed myself in the world of 2D animation, working on a myriad of projects, from series to feature films. The icing on the cake has been the recognition – He has won several awards has been recognized for his contributions to this captivating art form. With him in our team, our work extends beyond borders, collaborating on international series. Together, we’ve consistently delivered high-quality animation that transcends cultural boundaries.

Amol Jagtap
–Toon Boom Supervisors

Amol started his carrier in 2014 and has honed his skills working in various styles of projects of 2D animation shows and films in and short period, bringing a versatile skillset and experience to the team.

Some of the projects to his name are DC SuperHero Girls (Warner Bros. Animation), Fraiha/Emsahar [Doha Film Institute (Qatar)] where he was a senior animator and the twisted timeline of Sammy and Raj (Nickelodeon/Reliance) as an Animation Supervisor.

He is also a great leader and 1 of the members of our core team. Currently, he is the Animation Supervisor working at Livepixel Technologies handling 2D Animation in Toon Boom/Flash.

Swapnil Patil
–BG & Layout Supervisor

With a deep passion for storytelling through visuals, Swapnil leads a team of talented artists and creates captivating worlds for our projects. Over the past 10 years, He has been a part of numerous animation series and 2D feature films, refining his craft in the art of environment design. Swapnil’s role is to ensure that every backdrop enhances the narrative, transporting the audience to new and enchanting realms. Working alongside a dedicated team, he pushes the boundaries of artistic excellence with each project.

Bhavesh Zope
–Compositing & VFX Supervisor

Bhavesh serves as the captain of our talented crew in the role of 2D Compositing Supervisor. With an enriching 13-year journey in the animation realm, his career has been a thrilling exploration of the art of bringing stories to life through animation. Along this path, he has received several awards, a testament to the dedication and creativity he brings to the world of animation. As part of our team he has proudly collaborated on international series, consistently delivering top-notch compositing work that resonates with audiences from all corners of the world.

Bhavesh’s expertise extends to the intricacies of the different departments of 2D animation pipeline, ensuring that our projects seamlessly evolve from initial concepts to captivating, finished products.

Manish Panchwate
–Production Head

Manish has worked in the 2D animation sector for around 14 years. An engineering graduate from Amravati University, Due to his instinct in management work, he made a complete about-face and entered the field of production coordination.

Manish has worked in many renowned studio like Red Chillies, Graphiti, Reliance Big Animation Studio, Cosmos Maya. Where he managed KTB, Keymon Ache, Lambuji Tinguji, Atchoo, Ting Tong, Selfie with Bajarangi, Dabangg the animated series, Dr. Tenali Raman, Bapu, Bal Ganesha, and many more. In his present role as Live Pixel Technologies’ Production Manager, where he established the team & production pipeline. He manages both domestic and international projects.

Tapan Ramchandran
– Operations Head (3D Animation, AR/VR)

Tapan Ramchandar is a seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in 3D Animation, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Immersive Technologies. Currently associated with Livepixel Technologies, he has an extensive background in diverse projects ranging from 3D animations like to digitizing museum exhibits into immersive technologies such as AR, VR, and XR.

Throughout his career, Tapan has demonstrated a strong global presence, contributing his expertise to various domains including Advertising, Movies, Gaming, and the latest technologies like AR, VR, and XR. His portfolio includes creating realistic 3D models in Advertising for renowned brands such as Adidas, Mizuno, Sony, Nokia, and Samsung. Tapan has collaborated with international studios like Fusion Technologies, Synechron, Mystic Creation, Sony Pictures, DD, and Mec4d.

In his current role, Tapan plays a key role in the tendering system for Government Projects, showcasing his proficiency in managing projects from concept to final execution. Notably, he spearheaded the development of the Digital Gallery at Vidha Sabha Lucknow and has successfully handled over 35 tenders and executions for various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) including Vidhan Sabha (Lucknow, UP), GUJCOST, NSC, NISM, SEBI, SIDBI, NABARD, and Municipal Corporation.

Tapan excels in providing technical expertise in emerging digital technologies, standards, and upgrade methodologies. His role extends to establishing clientbusiness relationships by understanding their requirements, challenges, and goals. Moreover, he has been a consultant and concept developer for several PSUs under the Government of India.

A proactive professional, Tapan Ramchandar is currently aspires to pursue a responsible and challenging career in Concept Development for multiple progressive PSU organization. Tapan is committed to leveraging his creativity in alignment with the latest technologies and market requirements. He strongly believes in individual strengths to embrace new challenges and excel in his chosen path.
